Participate

You can participate in serving the underserved in the valley. We can use shop or craft teachers, Christian counselors, and materials donations. Skilled volunteer workers are always needed.

Cornerstone Community Church has recently established a community outreach program to service the city of Del Norte. Our goal is to help meet the needs of the less fortunate throughout the area, using strong faith-based initiatives and the generosity of our fellow neighbors. We are creating enterprises with the hope of providing local jobs, offering vocational training, distributing food via the Del Norte Food Bank, and doing community service projects. We hope to see these efforts increase the ability of the Del Norte Ministerial Alliance to help locals meet emergency expenses.

We hope in the future that you may have the magnanimity in your heart to consider participating by donating any items you feel would assist us in this monumental, yet necessary challenge.

With the combined efforts of local churches and other engaged professions, we all can make a difference in Del Norte, and one day expand to helping people help themselves throughout the San Luis Valley.

Be a part of the restoration of men and women who have suffered from addictions and sin. Not everyone can be on the front-line of ministry, but you now have an opportunity to help - because you've found us. Be an encourager!

Program residents learn trade skills, life skills, and worker-worthiness. A worker must be worthy of his hire. Residents work in the Job Corp for up to 90 days as part of their community service.
